There are two great options for you if your preference is manual adjustment of the camera. The $85 Willcare Baby Monitor $90 Babysense Baby Monitor are excellent choices. They both have similar features, but they come at a cheaper price.

Another non-WiFi option was the $130 Panasonic Video Baby Monitor. But, it wasn't worth my time. My night vision was poor so I couldn't see Ellie well enough. It is recommended and popular, however it has Wi-Fi. The Nanit Smart Video Baby Monitor costs $300.

Owlet offers a $399 Smart Sock with a combination video monitor system. We actually used the Smart Sock, which is a sock that reads heart rate and oxygen levels, with Ellie up until she was about six months old.

Owlet's new video monitor was just announced. It does not use WiFi but I could have bought it if Ellie's monitor had been available at the time. Owlet is a great app that allows you to easily view Smart Sock stats, video, and more in one spot. Although the Owlet can be expensive, parents will find that it is well worth the investment.
