Below are The 2022’s Best Bottle Heaters
1. Grownsy 5-in-1 baby bottle warmer
Earning the top spot on our list is this amazing 5-in-1 Grownsy bottle warmer! It is a relatively new bottle heater that’s simple to use, effective, reliable and cost-effective at just $40. It fits both large Tommee Tippee and Comotomo bottles as well as larger (9-ounce) Dr. Brown bottles without problems. There are five essential features to it: normal bottle warming (fast), normal bottle warming (defrost), food heating and sterilization. In our tests, all five settings were tried. According to how much milk there is and what temperature it is, fast bottle warming warms refrigerated or chilled milk within 2.5 to 7.5 minutes. You will find a table at the end of this instruction manual. Place the bottle inside the chamber. Pour the water into the measuring cup. It will automatically turn off when it is done. The timer will display a countdown, then the system will emit three beeps to signal that the warming process has ended. The same process applies to the defrost setting. Normal bottle warming was easy to use and provides constant temperature for bottles up to 24 hours. The same process works for food heating (just press the FOOD button), and sterilization (just press the STERILIZE button).
Sterilize can steam for up to 15-20 minutes. This worked well with both bottles (put them upside down to sterilize), and pacifiers. Every other function worked perfectly without any issues, and were impressed with how simple it was to use. After using tap water for a month, the inside began to develop minerals and required vinegar descale. If your tap water is high in minerals, like ours, you should use distilled water. Its primary function of fast bottle heating was evaluated with various types of baby bottles: plastic, silicone, and glass. For the lid to seal properly, which is required for quick warming, the bottle must be removed. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. Overall, we love the Grownsy, and think it is an awesome new addition to our list – given the great features and reliability, and the amazing price, we think it’s the obvious top pick! This is what it’s considered a top pick by others. Babygearlab and ScaryMommy are our friends! Interested? See the Grownsy Bottle Warmer below. Kiinde Kozii Safeheat Pro.
Newly released last year, we were super excited to get our hands on this new baby bottle warmer for testing (thanks, Kiinde!). Similar to other Kozii SafeHeat Pros in this article, it utilizes a warm bath to provide gentle convection heating. However, temperatures are lower than those of traditional steam-based bottle heaters. The lower temperature helps preserve nutrients in breast milk (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and white blood cells) or baby formula, though it might add a minute or two to the warming cycle. Kozii SafeHeat Pro out of its box feels high quality. Plastics feel good, stainless steel interior is strong, and both the water filler (and the lift-out container) are very well made. It is easy to insert narrower or smaller baby bottles into this device without the need to go into the hot tap to grab it. On the back of warmer, the water filler is located. It has graduated markings that will help you fill it with water. Distilled water is recommended, although regular tap water can be used with regular descaling (e.g. once a month). It is easy to clean a warm bath style bottle warmer.
It was easy to use. The knob located on the front allows you set how long it will take to heat your contents. Manual provides an easy-to-understand guide about what kind of item is being warmed: milk, food, starting temperature (refrigerated), room temperature, and material. After the timer runs out, the system turns off automatically. The wide opening could accommodate AVENT, Comotomo and Tommee Tippee baby bottles. Without any problems, it could be used as a Medela storage bag for breast milk. Even though taller bottles such as Dr. Brown’s 9-ounce bottles would get a little too high, the milk didn’t heat up. The few cons include the fact that there is no defrost setting and the overall price. Overall we like the Kiinde Kizii SafeHeat Pro. We are happy to be the first to review it. Interested? The bottle warmer, which is quite expensive, uses a unique heating and filling technique. It works like this: you place a reservoir in the bottom of the warming pot and turn on the device. Water rises to surrounding the bottle as the temperature increases. This is an interesting setup because it doesn’t require filling a reservoir on the side and relying on tubes and other mechanisms to store and move the water, so there is less risk of things getting disgusting over the course of a few days. You shouldn’t store the water in the reservoir if you don’t use it within 24 hours. This could cause it to go a little crazy. The water is not in direct contact, however, with any formula or breastmilk. Only the top of the bottle comes into contact.
You can adjust the time setting of this knob to vary from 1-15. The system comes with a chart that will help you determine how long it takes to heat your bottles. We have copied the chart below. It takes about 5-8 minutes for a 4–8 ounce bottle to heat up, which is comparable with other systems. This is a mistake we regret making, but it’s something that we urge you to avoid. After checking the temperature, we pulled out a bottle after only a few minutes. What happens when you pull it out early is that the system thinks the water level is too low and starts to pump more water into the pot. When you return the bottle, it overflows and the whole system is flooded onto the counter. It was somewhat annoying, and it could be dangerous because the water is extremely hot. This is an excellent bottle warmer with only minor drawbacks. The Kiinde Kozii is highly recommended by others. It is a favorite pick of Babylist, Babygearlab and What2Expect. Interested? While it’s very similar to First Years, this baby bottle warmer does not feature the cooler. Similar to the First Years, the baby bottle warmer uses a tiny pot instead of steam. This makes the product much simpler to maintain and clean. In our tests, the pot worked really well for warming up bottles of formula or breast milk, and we never had any issues of the milk being too cool or hot after warming. You place the baby’s bottle in the pot, then pour enough water into the reservoir to make the liquid equal to the volume of the bottle. You can fill the reservoir to 1 cm above the top of your bottle if it is full. There are different settings depending on the amount of milk in the container. We heated 4 ounces refrigerated milk on the first setting. It took approximately 4 minutes for it to reach the right temperature. (We checked the temperature with our baby thermometers). It took 7 minutes to warm up a large 8-ounce carton of milk on the high setting. On the switch, it lights up orange. The system does not have an automatic shut-off when turned on. The owner’s manual will give you a detailed chart that shows how to heat your bottle. It is a very basic baby bottle warmer. The only settings you can adjust for heating are a few and it does not have an auto-off feature or a timer. It is also very affordable, at only $35. The bottle warmer is able fit both our Baby Brezza, Tommee Tippee as well as Comotomo baby drinks, which was fantastic! Who else recommends the Philips AVENT Bottle Warmer? The Bump and Babylist recommend the Philips AVENT Bottle Warmer. Interested? Check out this AVENT bottle warmer. Bottle warmer for First Year Night Cravings.
This bottle warmer features a unique concept that is different from other models on our list. It was designed specifically to be used for travel. It can be carried around in a bag, or even a large purse, without the need for a plug. Although it appeared complicated at first, after a while, it became clear that it’s very easy. It comes with a stainless-steel thermos, thermos caps, and an opaque plastic water reservoir. The way it works is that you first fill the thermos up with boiling water, then close the lid. Once the thermos is filled with boiling water, slide the reservoir plastic over it and attach it. Pop it into your diaper bag or car, and go about your day’s adventure. When you’re ready to feed your baby, dump the thermos into the plastic reservoir to make a pot of hot water. The Tommee Tippee, or any brand bottle you prefer. This bottle is big enough to do almost any task. Stick your breast milk, formula into the hot pot. After waiting about three to four minutes, your milk will be at the right temperature. We tested it for about an hour, then tried again 11 hours later. It was hot but still worked perfectly. The only problem is that you must bring your milk with you wherever you are going. The second is that it’s much larger than we expected. It doesn’t even fit in our car cup holder because it’s too wide. Third, when the water is boiling, it can get very hot. To avoid this, make sure the container has a smooth surface. It’s a fantastic travel choice with some minor limitations. The price is usually $15, which makes it very cheap. Tommee Tippee bottles warmers are highly recommended. The Bump, Babylist and Babygearlab all recommend it as a great choice! Interested? You can check out the Tommee Tippee bottle warmer here 7. The Dr. Brown Baby Bottle Warmer.
We only recently got our hands on this Dr. Brown’s baby bottle warmer for testing, and we were excited to give it a try. This baby bottle warmer is one of few that will fit tall Dr. Brown glass bottles. (See our top baby bottles list here!). It can accommodate both narrow and tall bottles as well as wide-mouth bottles and jars of baby foods thanks to its adjustable bottom basket. In our testing, however, it couldn’t fit some of the really fat bottles, like the Tommee Tippee or Comotomo. With a design a little like a Keurig, the Dr. Brown’s has a small refillable water reservoir on the side that holds enough water for about 5-6 bottle warmings. It’s nice that you can fill it only once per day, rather than refilling and emptying every time. However, like we mentioned earlier, any bottle warmer with a reservoir system can be difficult to clean. We found that it was very fast to warm bottles out of either the fridge or freezer. It took approximately 3-4 minutes for a 5 ounce bottle to warm up from the fridge. Heating it in the freezer took around 6-7 minutes. Another feature we liked is that it remembers the last setting you used – so if the last time you warmed for 4 minutes, it will default to that setting the next time you turn it on. That is quite handy. But in our testing, we found that the warming was sometimes unreliable. We’d sometimes get bottles that were still too cold. In other cases, it might be too hot. Even though the temperature was the same and the bottles had been stored in the refrigerator the same length of time. The result was quite frustrating. This unit also built up more scum than other units that we tried, which is normal with all units unless it’s being cleaned out once a week (which we recommend). The bottle warmer itself is excellent, except for a couple of minor problems. We are happy to overlook the negatives for $35 online. Is there anyone else who recommends Dr. Brown’s bottle warmers? How to Pick the Best Bottle Warmer
Different types of Baby Bottle Warmers First, there is the typical home bottle warmer system that sits on your kitchen counter and uses steam to warm up your baby bottle. You can also heat water to warm your bottle. There is also the travel bottle warmer that plugs into your vehicle, or you can use a thermos to heat hot water for the morning. Most parents buy the second and third options, to have the flexibility of a home bottle warmer and travel bottle warmer.
Mold and slime: Some bottle warmers with steam use a reservoir which you fill up with water. This is especially important when you have hard water in your house. The type where you put water in a small pot, then place the baby bottle inside. This will eliminate the need to clean out the tubes and reservoirs. Be sure to wash your baby bottle warmer regularly, regardless of how it is used. White vinegar is recommended by most manufacturers to clean the water reservoir. We find it works well, especially if it’s left to soak for around an hour.
Safety and Milk Temperature Warmers can over-heat the milk. Then you need to wait until it cools down. When you heat a container to the wrong temperature, it can cause burns. No matter which bottle warming technique you’re using, to reduce the risk of burns always check the temperature of the warmed milk (we like to drip some on our forearm/underside of wrist) before feeding your baby.
Baby bottle size: A lot of bottle warmers will accommodate the narrow and tall bottles. It can sometimes be hard to get large bottles into the Goloho, like Tommee Tippees, due to the Goloho heating pot being too narrow. So we suggest getting a warmer that will fit a variety of bottle dimensions; you will find that sometimes it takes trying several baby bottles and nipples before finding the best one (see our baby bottle and nipple buying guide ), so you want to have flexibility in which ones will fit your new bottle warmer.

Consider these Features When You Choose a Bottle Warmer
The following are the top features of the ideal bottle warmer:
Speed. The speed with which the warm milk is heated by the bottle warmer was an issue that Pampers parents cited as a major concern. If you’re going to use a bottle warmer instead of just running the bottle under warm water or leaving it out to reach room temperature, you’ll want the benefit of speed. Many bottle warmers heat milk within minutes. Some can even do the job in less than 90 seconds.
Temperature. It is important to choose a warmer for milk that heats the milk to your baby’s preferred temperature. The warmer should have a thermostat that you can adjust to heat the milk, and it must be able to warm frozen milk.
Easy to use. The bottle warmer was designed to be easy to use by Pampers’ parents. It’s important to check the ease of cleaning and its ease of use. Is it easy to fill the water reservoir? Is the warmer simple to operate? Do you have the option to program your bottle in advance? Consider what other features you might need to make life simpler.
Compatibility of bottles. A bottle warmer should fit into the size of baby food jars and bottles. If you don’t have bottles yet, try to buy the bottles that are compatible with the bottle warmer you choose.
Price. The price is not everything. Although more is not always better, it’s important to choose a product that fits within your budget.
Shutoff by default. Baby means that you have to manage many things and it is possible for you not to remember when the warmer should be turned off. An automatic shutoff feature that turns off the bottle warmer once it gets to the right temperature is a great plus for a busy parent.
An alarm. You can have an alarm to sound when the container reaches the appropriate temperature.
You can choose the size and type of your bottles. How big are the bottles you use and how many do you want to heat at the same time? Also, do you have big space to store it or are you looking for something more compact? It is also important to take into account the shape and size of the bottle warmer.
Others functions. Some bottle warmers can sterilize bottles and bottle nipples; others can also defrost breast milk, or warm baby food. A few other functions may also be useful when you are looking at bottle warmers.
Is it worth buying bottle warmers?
A bottle warmer is more secure. The warmer works faster than all other methods. Warming the bottle by running hot water on it or placing the bottle in boiling water will take much more time and effort than using the warmer. Preserves nutrients. Breastmilk should not be heated in the microwave.
What is the fastest method to heat up a glass of wine?
Use hot water to warm the milk If you don’t have a bottle warmer, you can microwave a bowl of hot water for 60-90 seconds and put the bottle in that for a minute or so to warm.Sep 15, 2020
What are the benefits of bottle warming for breast milk?
Many common bottle warmers use steam heat, which heats milk slowly and delicately. This heat can however cause breast milk to lose its nutrients. It should have an automatic shutoff so that you don’t heat the milk excessively and damage it. … A standard steam-heat warmer may not perform the way you need it to.Oct 26, 2021
