However, they can also be purchased or rented by anyone. Because they are a great financial investment, many rent them.

These manual breast pumps can be carried in your purse or in your car for when you are unable to use your electric pump. Each model will require that you manually power the pump with your hand. Typically, these are single pumps which means that you have to pump each breast separately.
