Costco, like many popular Grocery stores, offers gas pump services to customers. It has competitive prices, and simple-to-use pumps.
Costco Gas operates between 5am and 9:00am Monday through Friday. Costco Gas can be opened from 7am through 8pm, on weekends. Costco Gas customers can still fill up, even though a Costco Warehouse may be closed.
While Costco Gas Station hours are very similar around the country, there are slight variations on hours for particular stores and locations.

Costco Gas Is Open on Public Holidays
Costco Gas operates by a standard holiday schedule, so Gas cannot be purchased around such holidays as Christmas, Independence Day, or New Years Day, to name a few.

When is Costco’s best time for gas?
Because Costco offers competitive prices, they can very often become incredibly busy.
It’s best to go to Costco Gas stations outside of peak hours (10am – noon and 7pm-10pm), but especially during times when Costco main location is closed. However, Gas stations can still be operated.
What is the best way to pay for Costco gas?
Costco Gas accepts a wide variety of payment methods, which can be used directly at the pumps to pay for Gas. However, there are a few caveats.
Costco won’t allow you to pay using your credit card.
Pay with Contactless Payment at Pumps: This is possible using Apple Pay, Android Pay or Google Pay.
Do you accept cash payments for Costco Gasoline?
Cash is unfortunately not accepted at Costco pumps and can’t be taken by attendants.
However, customers can also purchase Costco Shop Card to continue paying with cash. This card can be used at pumps.
Costco Gas is able to provide such low prices because of its competitive pricing.
Costco Gas always aims at selling gas for 30 cents less than closest competitors. Costco prides themselves on their affordability, which is partly driven by their membership model.
