    Without a doctor’s note, Lowes allows its employees to call in sick up to 6 times in a 365 day rolling period.

    If you do not call in at all, then after three days Lowes will assume that you have quit and will terminate your employment.

    Furthermore, you will be counted as one occurrence if more than one person calls in sick for the same day.

    Example: If you couldn’t attend work for 7 days, that would only count as 1 call-in.

    Paid sick time will only be available to employees who are full-time. Without a doctor’s notice or FMLAs intermittent leaves form, “at-will workers” cannot be paid for sick leave.

    Your attendance in disciplinary proceedings will be recorded for a period of one year beginning with the first issue. Then your records are deleted.

    However, it is important to know that the four-step policy can be skipped depending on the severity of the misconduct so you could be fired despite not going through all of the steps.
