Lowes Attendance Policy (Being Late, Clocking Out + More)
Whether you are currently employed by Lowes, or are looking to start a career with the company, it is important to know about their attendance policy.
Perhaps you are curious about what Lowes attendance policy means for employees. So, after doing extensive research I am now able to share with you my findings about Lowe’s attendance system.
Lowes attendance policy is set out in a 4 step procedure that constitutes an initial warning, written warning, final warning, and if there is no improvement on the issue then the fourth step will result in your termination. Lowes considers you to have quit if your phone is not answered or you fail to show up for three consecutive days.
How Many times can you dial in sick multiple times?
Without a doctor’s note, Lowes allows its employees to call in sick up to 6 times in a 365 day rolling period.
If you do not call in at all, then after three days Lowes will assume that you have quit and will terminate your employment.
Furthermore, you will be counted as one occurrence if more than one person calls in sick for the same day.
Example: If you couldn’t attend work for 7 days, that would only count as 1 call-in.
Not a Doctor’s Note.
But, if you have a valid reason, then FMLA can grant intermittent leave. If granted, days will not be missed.
How Many Times Can You Be Late At Lowe’s?
Lowes regards being late as clocking in 6 minutes after you are due to begin your shift.
Lowes will send you a first notice if three late payments are made within 30 days. And if this tardiness continues then your employment is likely to be terminated.
Lowes manages to clock out.
Lowes has a 6-minute rule for clocking in/out of your shift.
So, even if you have a shift that starts at 9 o’clock in the morning, then you might be able to clock-in anytime between 8.54 and 9.06 so long as it is on time.
However, any time outside of this 6-minute buffer would constitute a tardy.
