Usps Parcel Select In 2022 (What Is It, How It Works + More)
When it comes to shipping, small business owners can take advantage of a number of options that are available.
You can use the United States Postal Service to ship domestically, in particular. They offer several services such as Priority Parcel Select, First Class Parcel or Priority Parcel.
What is USPS Parcel Select in 2022?
USPS Parcel Select is a Postal Service package shipping option that is geared toward medium-to-large shippers. It has the fastest delivery times of USPS, and is also one of their most economically priced parcel shipping services. Parcel Select is only available through an online vendor such as Stamps.com and not at USPS.com.
How does USPS Parcel Selection work?
The United States Postal Service started offering USPS Parcel Select in 2013, when it dissolved the Parcel Post service.
Parcel Select offers parcel shipping at the lowest prices through USPS and 2-8 days shipping.
For this reason, it is an ideal choice for small business owners and others who ship regularly and frequently, but who find other shipping options eating into their profits.
Accessing it however is difficult online (USPS.com) or at your local Post Office.
Parcel Select cannot be sold through any postage vendor.
